Expanding to Better Serve You

We are very excited to announce a major change coming to Old Dominion Veterinary Services. Dr. Cassie Faull is joining the practice as a full-time associate veterinarian. Dr. Faull graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Following graduation, she joined a mixed animal practice in her home state of Pennsylvania. Dr. Faull has experience with a wide array of species, including production livestock, companion animals, horses, pocket pets and exotics. She enjoys many aspects of food animal medicine, from preventative care to surgery. She values the work and effort that is required of producers in order to navigate the ever-changing food production system and wants to be their advocate as they continue to feed America and provide for their families. She has a particular passion for working with sheep and goats.

Dr. Faull relishes the opportunity to get to know new people and is excited to get plugged in to the community. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and hiking with her dog, Mose. She grew up camping and backpacking with her family and continues to adventure whenever she gets a chance. Dr. Faull has traveled to many places around the world and loves any opportunity to explore new and different cultures.

Dr. Faull enhances the services offered by Old Dominion Veterinary Services in many ways. She brings with her a new skill set, including broader coverage of species such as dogs, cats, and horses. With her dairy background, she is ready to hit the ground running with routine cattle herdwork. She also has an interest in expanding reproductive services offered for sheep and goat herds. As the practice has grown over the years, it has at times been challenging for a single doctor to have adequate availability to meet the needs of clients in more than twenty counties in Virginia. The addition of a second veterinarian will improve our availability so that we can continue to provide the best possible service to our clientele.

Please note that with the addition of a new vet, our contact information has changed. The main office number and email address will be the best number to use for billing, scheduling, and emergencies. Calls, texts, and emails to Dr. Harris or Dr. Faull’s cell phones may not be immediately answered when the veterinarian is not on duty.
